Sears Tower, Navy Pier, Soldier Field, Hancock building...that's the Windy City.

Did you get out and enjoy the town or just do the fly over?

Soldier Field is on the lake by the marina/aquarium/museum/grant park.

Wrigley is a little way up the coast.

This trip I had two short layovers in Chigcago. Just long enough to get a bite to eat, a beer and a good nights sleep. Not even any time for a spin on the Lifecycle.

I am looking forward to my next downtown layover. I haven't been there for a while and I like to visit Chicago in the spring and fall. Wouldn't want to live there though. Summers and winters can be brutal.

Pab - Soldier is just south of downtown (toward the bottom of the picture) between Lakesore (main 'freeway' and the lake).

Ya, Chicaco in January is BRUTAL when the wind is blowing in off the lake.

You should get yourself a long layover during SUPERWEEK next year. Ali and I might find ourselves there.

I stopped liking MLB a long time ago. but i would still like to see a game at wrigley, or maybe fenway. i hope they never tear those places down.

superweek was really fun the year a few of us bagboys went. i'd like to go again sometime...
