Kyle,
I'm glad you like my photography, but I don't appreciate it when you take photos off my site or the teams without giving me credit. I rarely ask for much for people to use my pictures - just credit and a link as long as it isn't commercial. Please give me that courtesy or take the photos down.

someone has too much time on his hands....
Coming from someone who has a blog, I find that comment pretty funny...
I spent all day, both days, shooting those races for the team. Then I got to spend several hours in the evenings going through the photos to post on the VSRT site.
I don't think it's too much to ask that if someone wants to use my photos that I spent so much time on that they at least have the courtesy to send me an email. Most people do. Why can't Kyle?
Glenn
Sorry about that Glenn. You are absolutely right. Originally, I posted links to your site so people could see them there and would see all the other great photos. And, maybe buy some like I did (see post below) but the links did not work,
Internal Server Error?
I'm not that computer savvy but wanted my friends to see the photos of the cows because they were funny and fit in with a conversation we were having elsewhere. The Wente picture with the statue, wine, and helmet is very cool and has your tag on it...I guess I didn't even realize these didn't have your tag.
i meant lg had too much time on his hands to be posting a bunch of cow photos
although they are cool
i like the one of the spineguy

Thanks for the link. All I wanted was an email requesting permission to use the photos.

Hmm... not sure what you are referring to. I don't have links to sell photos from my site (I try to discourage it since I don't have the time and it's usually not worth the money), and my site seems to be operating just fine - no server errors that I could find. Maybe it's someone else's site you are referring to.

I posted a link which was supposed to go to the photo at this location
http://www.glennjamesphotography.com/wente-2006/img_7844_std.jpg
but I think you moved it to here
http://www.glennjamesphotography.com/photos/cycling/2006/road/img_7844_std.jpg
so it didn't work?
Yeah, I bought a picture from another site...just meant that we appreciate the efforts of all the photographers and that I appreciate it with $$ when I can.
Anyway, I'll zap you an email from now on if I link to one of your pix.

I did move my photos around, but even if I didn't, it wouldn't have worked anyway. I, like many others out there, have disabled "hotlinking" on my site because it can cost me money when someone links to my image from another site. See:

for an explanation.
